AMD Navi Graphics Cards To Be Announced At E3 2019, 2080 Performance

AMD Navi graphics cards

AMD Navi graphics cards are highly anticipated and while we have heard that these cards will cater to the mainstream market and will replace the RX 500 series graphics cards, it seems that there will be a model that will perform similar to the Nvidia RTX 2080. This is not the first time that we have mentioned E3 as the launch event for Navi.

We expected AMD Navi graphics cards to be announced at Computex 2019 but sources reveal that while AMD is going to talk about Navi at Computex, the full reveal is going to be at E3 2019. Microsoft is going to talk about the upcoming Xbox and if AMD is looking to get into the action as well that this is going to be a rather great E3.

Sources claim that AMD Navi is going to be a much better architecture compared to Vega and that the performance of the AMD Navi graphics cards is going to be surprising. We have been over-hyped about AMD products in the past so do take this with a grain of salt until we get something solid from AMD and the reviews come out as well.

I hope that AMD can do some damage with the 7nm architecture and can offer impressive performance for the price. Although Nvidia has just released the graphics cards that are based on the Turing architecture, it still has Ampere that is also based on the 7nm process. If AMD can make a dent then Nvidia an always push Ampere. What happens, in the end, is something that we will have to wait and see.

AMD Navi cards have been leaked from time to time but the leaked performance was not very interesting. It is also worth pointing out that this is the same graphics architecture that will be powering the PS5 and the next Xbox.
