Developer Altered Gene has showcased the remake of the puzzle thriller Forever Lost which combines both puzzle-solving and a thrilling adventure into one. Forever Lost is a multi-million download franchise and it is now making its way back to PC in the best way possible. Altered Gene is currently working on remaking the game and it is a completely rebuilt 3D version of the original 2D version to give the title a brand-new life in three dimensions.
The new Forever Lost will also be more accessible to modern people and more immersive for new as well old fans of the franchise. Graham Ranson, Co-Chief Person at Glitch Games commented:
Collaborating with Des, one of my favourite people, was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made. We wanted to bring the game from 2D to 3D, add a host of accessibility options, and remaster the soundtrack, but didn’t want to do the work ourselves. It’s going to be ace.
Forever Lost is a first-person puzzle adventure where you start the game by waking up in a dark, dingy room with no memory of who you are and how you got there. Your brain is telling you to escape, and you will need to piece the clues together in order to escape. You will use the game’s intimate environment, cryptic messages, and many other things to examine clues. You can also take pictures of clues to examine them later and sometimes one puzzle will lead you to another puzzle.

Forever Lost is slated for release in Summer 2023 however the Steam page for the game is live and you can add the game to your wishlist to follow up on additional details and updates about the game.
