Like any other shop or building, the Able Sisters shop requires you to complete a few tasks before you can unlock the feature and allow yourself to have the shop on your island. Let’s take a look at the specific details on how to unlock the Able Sisters shop for your island.

How to Unlock Able Sisters in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The Able Sisters will only open their shop when one of the sisters comes to visit your island in the first place. In this case, you need to invite Mable to visit your island. Mable can be invited once you have built the Nook’s Cranny for Tom and Timmy Nook. When the structure has built, talk to them inside and they will tell you about Mable.

From there, head over to the Resident Services and you will find Mable selling clothing items. Every time you meet her, she will be offering something different. You need to purchase at least 5 items from Mable, which will prompt her to open a shop on your island

From this point, all you have to do is select a desirable spot for the shop and then begin the construction. The construction and the shop opening process will take a day, so you need to check in a day later for the shop. Come back the next day and you will have the Able Sisters shop on your own island. Now you can get all sorts of clothing items and purchase them whenever you want.
