When you rest, your character also recovers health, making it useful not just for time skipping but also for preparing before your next activity.
However, there is a limit to how often you can do this. You can’t just keep resting again and again to quickly skip large amounts of time. After resting once, you will need to wait before you can do it again, which prevents players from instantly finishing time-based tasks.
Time and Cooldown System
The game has its own time system. In that, one in-game hour equals about five minutes in real life. After resting, you need to wait around ten in-game hours before you can rest again, which is roughly fifty minutes in real time.
Available Time Options
Whenever you choose to rest, the game gives you a few fixed options for how much time you want to skip. You can move forward by a short amount or jump ahead for longer periods, depending on your need. The available choices are three hours, six hours, or twelve hours.
