This Resident Evil Requiem Fuse Guide details where you can find the fuse to escape the clinic easily. Early in Resident Evil Requiem, when you take control of Grace inside the Rhodes Hill Clinic, you need to figure out how to restore power to the exit to escape. The door cannot be opened because the fuse is missing, which means you need to find the fuse.
Fuse Guide – Resident Evil Requiem
When you reach the fuse box near the exit, you will notice that the fuse is missing. From that box, look around and head to the left side. There you will encounter a chair and a small side table that can be opened. Inside the drawer, you will find the Cherub Key.
This key is used to unlock a door in the hallway, which you likely passed earlier. Return down the corridor and find the locked door located just past the horse statue. Use the Cherub Key to open it and go inside.
Locating the Fuse
Once you are inside this room, you will see a typewriter, which allows you to save your progress. In the next room, you will finally find the fuse you are looking for. Unfortunately, the fuse is locked inside a small case, so you cannot take it yet. You need to open the case.
Next to the fuse, you will also see a lighter. Pick it up, as it will make your journey easier in the darker areas of the clinic. Then come out of the room. After that, you need to take a left in the hallway. Eventually, you will reach the area with red lighting.
Room 202 on the left will be opened. Enter it, and inside, there is a children’s table with a book about the Shadow Ghost. Reading it gives you an important hint that says to “stay in the light,” which will become useful very soon.
Open the closet in this room, and you will see a box. Check the note attached to a box. The note explains that ‘The screwdriver is now in the toolbox in the Nurses’ station’. This tells you where to search next.
Leave the room again and continue to the end of the hallway. Take the right from there and enter the Prep Room. Walk through the room and open the door at the end.
The moment you open the door, the Shadow Ghost will appear and begin chasing you. She will not enter areas where the lights are on, so immediately run back toward the room where you first started. When she approaches that bright area, she will burn up and disappear into the ceiling.
Searching the Prep Room
Once things calm down, go back into the Prep Room and enter the door you opened earlier. You will see a med injector on the floor. Nearby, there is also a medical cart that can be moved. While you are moving it, a plastic tray will fall to the ground, which can alert the Shadow Ghost again, so be careful.
There is also a locker in this area containing a green herb, which you should take. If the ghost appears again, use the furniture and hallways to avoid her and run toward any room with bright lighting.
Getting the Screwdriver
Return to the room where you were moving the cart earlier. In the far corner, you will see another cart. Push it, so you can climb onto it and reach the red toolbox sitting on the top shelf.
You need to be quick and careful, as if something falls from the cart, it will alert the Shadow Ghost again. Once you grab the toolbox, open it to obtain the screwdriver.
Opening the Fuse Case
Now that you have the screwdriver, go back to the room where the fuse was in the box. On the way, the Shadow Ghost may block your path again, so use the lighted rooms to stay safe. If she appears in front of you, quickly move around her and run to the nearest bright area.
When you finally reach the fuse room again, use the screwdriver to open the locked case and take the fuse. After that, return to the fuse box near the exit and install it.
With the fuse placed, the power objective in this area is complete. However, the escape is not over yet. To leave the clinic, Grace will still need to locate three quartz pieces, which will be the next major task.
