Resident Evil Requiem Weapons Guide – All Weapons, How to Obtain

Resident Evil Requiem Weapons Guide

This Resident Evil Requiem Weapons Guide details how you can obtain all weapons in the game. Weapons are the core of any survival horror game. Weapons also play a major role in Resident Evil Requiem. They make combat and survival much smoother throughout the story. However, none of the weapons are required for trophies or achievements unlock.

Weapons Guide – Resident Evil Requiem

As your inventory space is limited, you will need to manage what you carry carefully. Grace has an option in which she can place extra weapons in storage chests found inside safe rooms, but Leon doesn’t have that option. Instead, he can sell weapons at Supply Boxes and later buy them back if needed. Leon can also upgrade his weapons at these boxes, while Grace’s equipment cannot be upgraded.

All Weapon Locations – Resident Evil Requiem

The following are all the locations where you can find the weapons in the game.

Care Center at Rhodes Hill – Grace Section

During Grace’s section at the Care Center in Rhodes Hill, you can obtain five weapons.

Revolver – Requiem

When playing as Grace in the Care Center, you will automatically receive the Requiem Revolver as part of the story once you reach the Central Hall. This becomes her default weapon early on.

Pistol – B934

Not long after, in the Dining Room area, which you reach through the Kitchen, you can find the B934 Pistol lying on the floor.

Knife – Makeshift

Close by, inside the Filing Room next to the Dining Room, there is a locker that contains the Makeshift Knife.

Knife – Hunting

Another blade, the Hunting Knife, isn’t found in a specified spot. Instead, it drops from an enemy wandering near the Dining Room and Filing Room area. He carries the knife, so defeating him will reward you with it.

S&S M232

Later, inside the Bar & Lounge, check the counter to pick up the S&S M232 and add in your arsenal.

Care Center at Rhodes Hill – Leon Section

During Leon’s section, you can obtain 3 weapons.

Shotgun – MSBG 500

When you switch to Leon in this area, explore the Attic carefully. Along the main path, near a large, bloated enemy known as a Chunk, you will find the MSBG 500 Shotgun on the ground.

Hand Grenade

After defeating this Chunk monster, it will also drop a Hand Grenade, giving you some extra firepower.

Sniper Rifle – Classic 70

As soon as Leon becomes playable again in the Courtyard section, he is automatically equipped with the Classic 70 Sniper Rifle. There is nothing special required here; you receive it instantly as you progress.

East Raccoon City – Leon

In East Raccoon City, you can find or purchase six different weapons.

Pistol – Silencer 9, Shotgun – 990-TAC, and SMG – Stiri REVO3 A1

In East Raccoon City, several weapons can be purchased directly from Supply Boxes using credits earned from defeating enemies. These include the Silencer 9 Pistol, 990-TAC Shotgun, and Stiri REVO3 A1 SMG. As you continue buying armor upgrades, Body Armor Level 2 becomes available after purchasing Level 1.

Combat Axe

Leon also carries a combat axe with unlimited durability. It never permanently breaks and can be sharpened at any time using the button prompt L1+Square/LB+X, making it extremely reliable for conserving ammo.

Gal – SMG

Inside the flooded Underground Parking Garage, head to the north-west corner where you search for the battery key item. There you will discover the Gal SMG.

Sniper – Marksman 1A

Further along the main road between the Gas Station and the Apartments, look toward the east end. Climb behind the truck at the road’s end to reach a large blue container. Using the BSAA Container Keys obtained earlier through a cutscene, you can unlock it to obtain the Marksman 1A Sniper. If your inventory is full at that moment, don’t worry, as you can purchase it later from Supply Boxes.

Raccoon City Center – Side Street After Orphanage (Leon)

During the second section of Raccoon City, you can obtain an additional weapon.

Shotgun – W870 Police

While passing through Gun Shop Kendo, a cutscene will trigger automatically. Once it ends, turn around completely and check the shelf behind the door to find the W870 Police Shotgun. If you are short on inventory space, a Supply Box is located just ahead, allowing you to sell items to make room.

ARK – Leon

Inside the ARK, you can obtain 1 weapon each during both Leon’s and Grace’s sections.

Hatchet – Mortal Edge

After defeating the boss who fights with a hatchet, you can loot the weapon Mortal Edge from it. This axe is stronger and lasts longer than your previous hatchet. Unequip the old one and equip Mortal Edge from your inventory.

ARK – Grace

Bottle of Acid

In the ARK section, while playing as Grace, enter Chemical Storage and examine the table near the entrance. You will find a Bottle of Acid there.

Insanity Difficulty Exclusive

If you complete the game on the Insanity difficulty, you can unlock an additional weapon.

  • Knife – R.I.P

On Insanity difficulty, you can obtain the R.I.P. Knife. It is purchased from the Parlor in the Care Center using Antique Coins. This knife replaces one of the standard upgrades available on lower difficulties and provides increased Blood gain.

Additional Unlocks After First Playthrough

Once you finish the game at least once on any difficulty, even Casual, new weapons become available for purchase from the Bonuses menu under Special Content.
