Arc Raiders is all about looting and, more importantly to extract safely from the battle zone. But during this, you also need to take care of nearby enemies, which may be other players or robots. The robots, specifically, are the real threats. They can attack you and deal massive damage. They roam the world, attack very aggressively, and can send you back to the base, Speranza, with no loot. This ARC Raiders Enemies Guide comprises all the ARC robots you will face in the game and how to defeat them.

Enemies Guide – ARC Raiders

The enemies in ARC Raiders are divided into two types:

  • Basic Enemies
  • Special Enemies

Basic Enemy Types

These enemies appear often in the game and can be easily defeated alone using normal weapons. They will not cause much trouble to you, but you should know how to handle them cause some of them deal heavy damage.

Enemy Weak Spot How to Beat
Wasp Thrusters The Wasp is the most common enemy that you will find in the game. Even though it is common, it becomes dangerous in groups because it shoots rapidly and can deteriorate your health quickly if you are not behind cover.

Shoot one of its four thrusters to make it spin out and crash.

Hornet Rear thrusters The Hornet is basically a stronger version of the Wasp. Instead of firing normal bullets, it fires electric shots that damage you and can slow your movement, making you easier to hit.

The best strategy is to take cover, crouch, and aim at the two thrusters on its back, because the front is well protected. Shoot thrusters to make it spin out and crash.

Snitch Underside Plating The Snitch is a robot that doesn’t attack you directly. It uses a laser to scan the area, and if it spots you, it will call a backup, which usually consists of two Wasps and one Hornet.

You should destroy it quickly before it calls for backup or after spotting you. Shooting the plates on its underside is the fastest way to disable it.

Fireball Core when open The Fireball is a ground ARC enemy that you will face in the game. It is very fast and throws flames that can drain your health extremely fast.

You can use heavy weapons to kill it quickly, but if you have light weapons, the best option is to wait for it to expose its core and then shoot the exposed weak point.

Pop None Pop enemies are also ground robots that chase you at high speed and explode once they reach you. This explosion can instantly break your shield and drain your health. They are most often found in groups.

Killing them is very easy; you just have to shoot one or two bullets at them from any weapon, so timing your shots matters more than weapon strength, because once they reach you, you are most likely to be dead.

Tick None Ticks are small, spider-like enemies that are found inside buildings. They move quickly, jump onto you, and stay attached until you shake them off, dealing damage this whole time.

Because they are fast and hard to shoot, the best way to kill them is to use your melee Raider Tool for a quick one-hit strike.

Turret None Turrets can be found in many indoor rooms and scan the area with a blue light. When that light turns red, this means they lock onto you and fire nonstop bullets, which can quickly drain your shield and health.

Sneaking up from an angle where you are not in direct sight and then shooting it is the best approach. Heavy ammo works faster.

Sentinel Yellow canister The Sentinel is a stronger and more dangerous version of the Turret. It appears outdoors more often and shoots sniper-like rounds from a long distance, which can nearly kill you in a single shot.

Try to approach it from behind and use heavy ammo to kill it quickly. You can also shoot the yellow canister to deal extra damage.

Shredder None The Shredder is a close-range enemy that deals huge damage if it gets too near. It charges up a deadly explosion that can kill you almost instantly.

Heavy weapons or grenades work best. If you can keep it still and throw a grenade, you can defeat it much faster.

Special Enemies

These enemies are large, strong, and usually need teamwork to defeat. Using heavy weapons or grenades makes the fight much easier. A single or two Wolfpack grenades can almost kill many of them, except the Queen. And some amount of Snap Blast Grenades can deteriorate the health of any of them.

Enemy Weak Spot How to Beat
Surveyor Core The Surveyor is an enemy that strolls around the ARC world collecting data. You can recognize one by the thin blue scanning laser it sends upward into the sky. As soon as it sees you or takes damage, it usually tries to escape, which makes the fight difficult.

The best tactic is to sneak up and throw a Snap Blast Grenade on its exposed core while it is collecting data. This can destroy it instantly. If not killed by one grenade, use heavy weapons afterwards.

Leaper Face and legs The Leaper is a heavy ARC enemy that jumps long distances and can cause massive damage. It also releases a strong shockwave if you stand too close.

Fighting from inside a door or building helps keep it from jumping into you. Shooting its legs and face deteriorates the outer armor. All of your teammates should focus on the same leg while firing to make it unstable quickly, and then hit its face.

Rocketeer Thrusters The Rocketeer looks like a much larger Hornet and is extremely dangerous. Once it sees you, it fires rockets that can destroy your shield and health in one hit.

Heavy ammo or grenades can break the armor protecting its thrusters. Once one or two thrusters are damaged, finishing it off becomes easier.A single Wolfpack grenade can kill it, but make sure there are no other enemies nearby, because Wolfpack is disintegrated into 12 mini missiles, so the mini missiles don’t get wasted.

Bastion Legs and back canister in yellow The Bastion is a crab-like machine that strolls in open areas. When it notices you, it fires very fast machine gun rounds that can kill you before you react. Only fight it when you have solid cover.

Shoot the yellow joints on its legs to break one. When a leg is destroyed, the Bastion collapses, giving you a chance to run behind it and shoot the yellow canister on its back.

Bombardier Legs and back canister in yellow The Bombardier looks similar to the Bastion but is more deadly. Instead of machine guns, it fires mortars that deal huge damage. If a “Spotter” enemy marks you with a yellow laser, its accuracy becomes even more dangerous, so destroy Spotters as soon as you see them.

Defeating the Bombardier works the same way as the Bastion: break the leg joints to drop it, then attack the yellow canister on its back until it is destroyed.

Queen Legs and face The Queen only appears during the Harvester condition and is one of the toughest enemies in the game. It shoots powerful lasers, fires mortars, and uses close-range attacks like ground slams and EMP blasts. It also summons many smaller enemies during the fight, making the battle extremely difficult.

Like other large ARC enemies, shooting its leg joints and face removes armor and exposes weak points inside. Heavy weapons or a Hullcracker are required to deal fair amount of damage, but the fight can still take a long time. Carrying lots of Wolfpack grenades is the fastest way to defeat it before things get out of control.

Matriarch Legs and face The Matriarch is another massive enemy similar to the Queen, but even more aggressive. It fires homing missiles that can destroy your health immediately, so cover is essential. It also uses flashbangs to blind you and gas mines that undermine your stamina and leave you helpless for follow-up attacks. The worst part is that it can summon other special enemies like Bastions or Rocketeers, making the battle even harder.

Bring a Hullcracker with plenty of ammo and Wolfpack grenades. The Matriarch often has a blue shield that prevents damage, so only attack when there is no shield. Shooting the face with heavy weapons exposes the core, then blow attacks to the exposed weak spots using Hullcracker and Wolfpack grenades.
