Digimon Story: Time Stranger Starter Digimon Guide – Which One to Choose

When you start playing Digimon World: Time Strangers, you have no Digimons on your side. You have to find and evolve them. When you are in the early stage of your game, you can be able to get three Digimons, which are also called ‘Starter Digimons’. Each of these Digimon comes with its own unique strengths and weaknesses. This Digimon Story: Time Stranger Starter Digimon Guide will help you determine which starter Digimon to choose in the game.

Starter Digimon Guide – Digimon Story: Time Stranger

The three starter Digimons are DemiDevimon, Gomamon, and Patamon. Now, we will discuss how to get them.

DemiDevimon

The easiest one to get is the DemiDevimon. You can get it at the beginning of the game.

First of all, you need to find a Kuramon (Digimon), which you will find easily in the game, all over the area of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. After finding it, you have to convert this Digimon into Pagumon through Digivolve. Then further digivolve Pagumon into our needed DemiDevimon.

Another way to get DemiDevimon is to find Gazimon or Impmon, which we can easily find at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. After we get any one of them, we just need to de-digivolve that specific Digimon to get Pagumon, and from Pagumon, we digivolve it to DemiDevimon.

Gomamon

When you are on the mission of Reunions Bring Trouble, you have to go to a place called Shinjuku Underground Waterway. At that particular place, you will find Bukamon. This Bukamon will help us to get our starter Digimon. We just have to digivolve it and get our Gomamon.

Patamon

Patamon can also be unlocked at the same place where we get our Gomamon. But the difference is that both of them are unlocked while doing different missions. While doing the Resonating Thoughts mission, we need to go to Shinjuku Underground Waterway again. At that particular time, after completing Reunions Bring Trouble, you now find Tokomon, which you can digivolve into Patamon.

Which Digimon to Select:

After unlocking the starter Digimons, you will be given a choice to select one of these three starters. At that stage, players think about which Digimon they should select. You should choose the Digimon that you like the most, like its appearance, attacks, skills, etc.

Secondly, you can think of which Digimon took the longest time to obtain. That may mean that the one who took the longest might be the one who is the strongest. So, from this, we can say that Patamon is the strongest of them. But the one who should decide which one to choose is “you”.
