Hollow Knight: Silksong Underworks Map Guide

You will arrive in Underworks after completing the Grand Gate section of the story. Once the elevator crashes, you will find yourself at the entrance of Underworks. This is again a tricky place to navigate, so finding the map quickly is a good idea. For this area, you must find the map without Shakra, as she is not present here to sell it to you. Underworks Map Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong

You must have the Drifter’s Cloak and Cling Grip skills for this. To find the Underworks map, you should start in Grand Gate, near the entrance that leads to the Underworks. This is in the lower-right section of Grand Gate, right after the sequence where you witness the elevator crashing. We have marked its location on the map below:

Once you arrive here, head right and purchase the Bench that comes your way. Save your game here and start making your way deeper into Underworks by hitting the switch on the right side wall. It will open a door for you through which you can proceed to the next area. Head right into the next area, avoid/fight the two mosquito guards, and then use the right-side wall to cling and move up. Keep going up until you come to a platform that blocks your progress.

Plaforming — Jump across the platforms with Cling Grip

Here, use the platforms on the left side to go to the other side, and then climb over to the right side platform once again. Here, use the same strategy of using the right wall to go up and then jump left when you cannot go any further. Use the platforms on the left to reach the upper area.

Enemies — Kill the mosquitoes or they will make your life hell

Then stick to the left side of the wall and jump down to reach a switch. Hit the switch. This will clear the blockade on the right side of the wall so you can use it again to go further up.

Keep going up until you are blocked again due to a platform. Jump onto the middle platform and then land on the platform on the left side, marked by the sign.

Use the door and enter the next area. Inside, you will find the map of Underworks hanging on the wall. Interact with it to collect it.
