This guide will show you how you can save the Mask Maker from Harriet’s ritual sacrifice in Deathloop. When you go out to hunt and kill Harriet, you will have to sneak past a lot of enemies in both Hangar 1 and Hangar 2.
One of these hangars is where Harriet will be holding a ritual sacrifice where the Mask Maker is hanging from the gantry crane in Hangar 2. While this task does nothing of significance, if you want to stop the ritual before you head to kill Harriet, you can easily do so in a couple of minutes.
How to Save Mask Maker from Ritual Sacrifice in Deathloop
The first thing you need to do is to go to Karl’s Bay in the morning, mark Harriet Visionary lead, and exit the tunnel by taking the exit.
Harriet will be inside Hangar 2 as marked as the objective location, but you need to sneak past the enemies without alerting anyone, least of all, Harriet herself. Head towards Hangar 1, dashing over unsuspecting enemies and taking out a few in the way. Enter Hangar 1 and take out the two enemies quickly inside. Now head up the stairs on the right and walk towards the door on the top level that connects to Hangar 2.
Inside Hangar 2, you will find Mask Maker on the gantry, with another enemy on the platform ahead. Use a stealth weapon to take out this enemy, and then follow up by using the Shift power to jump on the balcony where Harriet is making her speech. Make sure not to jump directly on top of her to stay undetected, but to the white ledge on the left. This will give you a clear view of the room guarded with the red lasers. The room is locked from the inside but you can shoot the button which will open it.
Return back to the platform, enter this door and head down where Harriet is. Take out every enemy including Harriet, press the gas dispenser button and then press the top crane button on the left.
At this point, the Mask Maker will still be hanging from the crane and there is nothing else that you can do besides exiting this area. When you return in the future, you will now have access to Mask Maker’s shop, which will otherwise be inaccessible.
