This Sea of Thieves Cursed Captain’s Journals Guide will show you where you can find all of the Curse Captain’s Journals. In total, there are 5 Journals that you can get from different locations.
One of the many new quests in the new update of the game requires you to collect all these 5 Journals in the Sailor’s Grave location.
Sea of Thieves Cursed Captain’s Journals
Below we have detailed where you can find all five Cursed Captain’s Journals.
Journal #1 – The Haul of a Lifetime
This quest begins when you first step foot on the Sailor’s Grave location, where you need to go west towards The Last Stand tavern after exiting the hull of the ship. The journal itself is on the top deck of the tavern. When you are on top, jump over the gap below and take the first journal from the table with the burning candle
Journal #2 – Off the Edge of the Map
This journal can be found inside another one of the shipwrecks in Sailor’s Grave where it will be in the gambling area. This area can be accessed from behind the ship, indicated by the wooden path that leads straight in. You will find a few skeletons here playing chess on a table, while another table to their left will have the Journal.
Journal #3 – Dissent in the Ranks
The third journal of the Cursed Captain is found in another one of the shipwrecks here which is straight across from the tavern, where you need to go to the right from the fork. You need to head inside this half-broken ship and inside the bedroom with the skeleton on the bed. The journal will be to the right of the bed on a desk.
Journal #4 – Strand, Yet Familiar
This journal is quite easy to find, and it is in the lighthouse tower in this location. However, to access the tower, you need to free the Cursed Captain and bring him to the bridge to raise it and give you access.
Enter the tower and climb up to the top where you will find the journal in a bookshelf.
Journal #5 – Lights Out
The last journal itself can be found on the Cursed Captain’s ship called The Golden Hare. The path to this ship is only available after you summon the ferryman from the lighthouse where you found the previous journal. With the Cursed Captain’s head, go to the Golden Hare and place it on the skeleton body sitting on the table with the map. All that is left now is for you to grab the last journal from the bookcase on the right.
