The 2021 editions of Digital Dragons Indie Celebration and Business Meet Up took place over the weekend and the events attracted people in the video game industry from all over the world. Hosted by Krakow Technology Park, the events were dedicated to game developers, publishers, investors, and other industry professionals. Part of the event was the Digital Dragons Indie Celebration 2021 where Hello Neighbor 2 won the first prize out of 250 games.
Indie Celebration is an international competition for indie developers where they present their video games to a wider audience and win prestigious awards. 250 games from over 50 countries took part in the 2021 edition of Digital Dragons Indie Celebration. There were 247 developing studios, 115 publishers, and 36 investors while the winners were decided by the panel of judges. Three titles were selected for the first three positions and each of them was considered as the Digital Dragons Best Indie Games.
During the Indie Celebration 2021, the first prize went to Hello Neighbor 2 by Eerie Guest. It is a stealth game where you must dig up the secrets of your crazy neighbor however the neighbor learns from your mistakes and will surprise you every time with a new tactic up his sleeve. The second place award went to Hardspace: Shipbreaker by Blackbird Interactive while the third place award went to Medieval Dynasty by Render Cube S.A.
There was a fourth award as well called the Community Vote and it was given to the psychological horror game Lust from Beyond by Movie Games.
