Colored Gem #1 – Red
The Red Gem can be found at N.Sanity Peak, where you will have to make your way towards the sixth Checkpoint and to the grid puzzle. When you reach the checkpoint, look to the right towards the inscriptions on the wall. This is a big clue for the grid puzzle that you will have to complete in the next area.
When you reach the puzzle itself, you will see 9 platforms that will disappear and reappear alternatively. Your task is to jump on the platforms in the correct sequence to get the gem. Start from the platform on the left, closes to you, and jump the platform on the right. Your path has to be anti-clockwise in the outer platforms, and then jump the platform in the middle. This will complete the puzzle and give you the Red Gem.
Colored Gen #2 – Green Gem
The first thing you need to do is go to Hit the Road level, in the Hazardous Wastes section. The Gem can be found in the area after you are running from the enemy truck that is chasing you.
In the middle of this level you will, after the truck stops chasing you, you will find a small construction area with a checkpoint box that you can open. However, there is also a Nitro here that you can blow up by using the remote control car. When it explodes, it will reveal the Green Gem, ready for you to take it.
Colored Gem #3 – Blue Gem
This Gem can be found in the Draggin’ On stage when you are in the Tranquility Falls area. Your task here has a simple objective but is quite tricky to complete. You have to reach the end of the area without breaking any of the crates that you see.
Make sure you steer clear from all the crates, avoid your spinning attacks when you are next to one, and then you will the Blue Gem at the end of this level. If you break a crate, you will have to start over.
Colored Gem #4 – Yellow Gem
This Gem can be found in the Run it Bayou stage of the Mosquito Marsh. The gem is quite easy to obtain as it doesn’t require you to do something extra but is hidden quite well. So much so that it doesn’t even appear on the screen.
In the Run it Bayou stage, continue until you reach the platform on the left, just before the mines. Here you will find four crates that you need to jump on and perform a double jump to get the Yellow Gem above the crates. You won’t see it, but you will be notified when you obtain it.
