Yakuza 4 is coming to PS4 on January 17, 2019, but it will have a new face. As announced by Famitsu, the cast for Masayoshi Tanimura is being changed and the PS4 port will have a new face when the game comes out next year.
According to Famitsu, the main character of Yakuza 4, Masayoshi Tanimura will get a new voice actor as the previous voice actor is no longer working for the industry. The new face behind Masayoshi is now Toshiki Masuda.

This is a big step for a remaster because most of the time, everything from the original title is brought to the newer version from the original title as it is and ports are mostly visual overhauls. This will be like playing with a completely new character but we hope that Toshiki will be able to perform just like Hiroki Narimiya who was the original character behind Masayoshi.
Yakuza 4 originally came out on PS3 back in 2010 and it is considered one of the best ones in the series so far. Sega is bringing all Yakuza titles to PS4. For this, the first two titles that were released on PS2 have been already released on PS4 as Kiwami Remasters. Currently, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 are the only ones not on PS4.

With Yakuza 4 coming out in January 2019, only Yakuza 5 will be left which is not on PS4. Sega plans on releasing the PS4 port of Yakuza 5 sometime around fall 2019 which will be confirmed soon as well since Sega is currently working on bringing it to PS4. We are looking forward to playing Yakuza 4 on PS4 systems.
The new chapter is slated for a PS4 launch in January 2019. Additional details will be revealed at a later stage.
