Xenon Racer Update

SOEDESCO has released the third free content update for its arcade racing Xenon Racer and it adds a brand new location Nevada along with a new car. The Silver State Nevada comes with its own unique tracks that offer a totally unique and different experience for the racers as the tracks are based in the dusty deserts of Nevada.

Nevada brings with it four brand new tracks that offer unique views ranging from red mountains and rocky roads. Players will be able to drift through an all-new set of twists and turn in these turns in different events. The tracks come with different variations as well so each one will offer a different perspective of Nevada. The new tracks are:

  • Nevada Dam
  • Nevada Grand Canyon
  • Nevada Route 93
  • Nevada Red Rock Canyon

Along with these new tracks, the game also has a brand new racing team which comes with their own car. Just like all the other cars, Helix Wing also comes with a normal and performance variant which offer different performance catering to different situations. Players can modify the car even further to make adjustments to it according to their own personal taste.

Xenon Racer is a futuristic arcade racing game in which players participate in the super-fast races driving machines from the future which run on both electricity and Xenon gas. These vehicles are developed especially to participate in the championship. The game features a wide variety of tracks based on real-world locations in their future selves.

Official press release sates some features of the game as:

  • Race at top speeds in electric vehicles boosted by Xenon gas
  • Drift through the streets of major cities like Tokyo and Dubai in the year 2030
  • Triumph in single-player, split-screen & online multiplayer championships
  • Master your drifting skills, it’s essential to get the best times on the leaderboards
  • Customize your car with tons of parts to create the ultimate racing vehicle

We reviewed Xenon Racer when it came and despite being a promising game in nearly all sectors, it seriously lacks in gameplay which is a major letdown for a racing game. The car handling is just absurd and I’ve played tank games with better handling mechanics. Unless something is done about the handling, Xenon Racer is seriously going to suffer in terms of gaining popularity among its fans.

Xenon Racer is now out on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
