Twin-Stick Puzzle Platformer World-Splitter Gets a PC, Consoles Release Date

Publisher Bumble3ee Interactive and developer NeoBird have announced the release date of their upcoming twin-stick puzzle platformer World-Splitter. World-Splitter is the recipient of the Game Connection Europe 2020 Indie Development Awards’ Best Console Game and Grand Award prizes. World-Splitter will launch on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 21, 2021, and will cost $19.99.

World-Splitter brings a unique concept where each player can manipulate two parallel rifts as they simultaneously traverse visible parts of each stage. There are over 60 stages in the game where you will be saving critters as you try to reach the exit of each stage while avoiding enemies and taking advantage of different interactable objects such as levers, mechanical platforms, portals, and gravity fields.

If you prefer additional challenges in the game, you will be able to up the ante with settings for restricted win conditions, a medal system, and much more. There are also plenty of time-based challenges in the game so if you are a speedrunner, you will feel right at home in World-Splitter Check out the newly released gameplay trailer of World-Splitter below:

Each critter that you save in the game will start following you. The change in the parallel rifts is simultaneous and as you progress in the game, the challenges will continue to get harder and harder for you to overcome with the addition of multiple obstacles. Later stages will also feature more rifts for you to control as well giving you an even tougher challenge to overcome. Pre-orders are now live for World-Splitter and players can also add the game to their wishlist on Steam to keep track of the title when it comes out.
