The brand new expansion Iceborne is arriving in three months for Monster Hunter World and it is going to be the biggest addition to the game ever since its release. It will add a brand new region called Hoarfrost Reach which is a snowy region and will really test the mettle of monster hunters. The new region will come with some new monsters as well as some monsters returning from old titles.
Earlier, Capcom also showed some of the weapons that are coming to the expansion. Check them out as well. The new weapons include special variants of Great Sword and Long Sword along with the Clutch Claw which will allow hunters to clamp to the monsters and land some quick jabs before dodging away from them.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is slated to release on September 6, 2019, on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version will be released at a later point in Fall 2019. The base game will be required to play the expansion.
