THQ Nordic Developing 48 Unannounced Games Right Now

THQ Nordic Unannounced Games

THQ Nordic recently teased two unannounced games that will be showcased at E3 2019 but it seems that this is only the tip of the iceberg. Last months financial report claims that THQ Nordic was working on 80 different games and 48 of them are currently unannounced titles.

This means that we might hear about more than just 2 games at E2 2019. The following is what the report states:

During the period we signed multiple new projects, among them a new development agreement with 4A Games, the developers of the Metro franchise, for their upcoming, still undisclosed, AAA-project. By the end of the quarter, THQ Nordic, Deep Silver and Coffee Stain had 80 games in development, of which 48 titles are currently unannounced.

These upcoming games could cover franchises such as TimeSplitters, Legend of Kay, Destroy All Humans!, Red Faction. The rest is anyone’s guess. We will have to wait and see what the company brings to the table. While there is very little that we know, it has been confirmed that Metro Exodus devs 4A Games is working on another big title. So that should be interesting to see as well.

Metro Exodus is the biggest game that THQ Nordic has published recently but there are other titles like factory building simulator. All things considered, things are looking great for the publisher and we cannot wait to hear about all these upcoming games that different developers are working on right now. We might hear more at E3 2019, so stay tuned for more information regarding the matter.

The company has recently acquired Risen and Gothic developer Piranha Bytes. It has also bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios so THQ has a lot of games under its umbrella right now.

Let us know what you think about THQ Nordic working on 48 unannounced games and which game you would like to see release next.
