Out of the current most-hyped game releases of this year, The Last of Us: Part II takes the lead because its launch has been nothing but a rocky ride. With now the game hardly a week away, we finally have the launch trailer of The Last of Us: Part II which is somehow really short. While we were expecting it to be a little longer, it is just shy of a minute while most of it is simply a logo with the words ‘pre-orders now open’. There is only 20 seconds of actual game video in the 50-second clip.

With the game just a week away, we can hardly wait to play the game now. The launch trailer is not quite what we were expecting for a game that has so much hype but it is probably for the best that the developers did not want to show anything new here. Most of the scenes are from the older trailers, gameplay videos, or development diaries that we have already seen before.
