Publisher Armor Games Studios and developer Wonderful Elemphant (jmtb02) have announced the release of The Elephant Collection. The Elephant Collection is a collection of ten classic Flash titles for fans of elephant games old and new. All of the ten classic games will be remastered and presented in a nifty collection for modern players. To celebrate the announcement, the developers have released the debut trailer for The Elephant Collection as well. Check it out below:
The games range from puzzle platformers to rapid-fire arcade games and The Elephant Collection packs ten of jmtb02’s iconic blue elephant Flash releases into one mammoth-sized package. The titles featured in the collection have been played by fans millions of times and they serve both as timeless classics and notable pieces of indie game history. The new collection will arrive featuring remastered artwork for original and high-resolution play, higher quality music and sound effects, and no ads during playthroughs.
The anthology is tied together by an overarching story where the Blue Elephant’s partner goes missing after a rave gone wrong. Now trying to get his partner back, Blue Elephant must recover his memories of that night by earning achievements in each game which will reveal the location of his lost partner along the way. The ten games included in The Elephant Collection are:
- This is the Only Level 1, 2, and 3: This platformer only has one level, but the solution changes every time you beat it. Do you have what it takes to reach the end?
- Achievement Unlocked 1, 2, and 3: Think outside the box and figure out how to unlock every possible achievement. (Good luck; there are a lot of them.) Note: Achievement Unlocked 2 does not contain a multiplayer experience.
- Elephant Quest: That Wooly bully stole the Elephant’s bowler hat. Rude! Fight through an expansive world, power up your elephant, and help your fellow elephants in fun side quests in order to stop Wooly once and for all! Oh, also, you have a laser.
- Obey! The Game: This micro-game collection is simple, really: just follow the instructions until the game tells you not to!
- Run, Elephant, Run: Escape from your world tour and go on a whirlwind international journey so you can spend time with your loving partner, who is also an elephant.
- Elephant Rave: Dance to the music and avoid the colorful lasers! It’s highly irrelephant.
The original blue elephant games are some of the wackiest, the most whimsical, and wonderfully nostalgic titles and The Elephant Collection will bring all of these games back to life for the modern era of video games. The Elephant Collection is slated for a 2023 release on PC via Steam and you can add the game to your wishlist right now.
