Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Content

Warner Bros. and DC have released the third and final episode of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Insider video series which reveals brand-new information about the game including the post-launch content. The latest video gives us a closer look at Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming third-person action shooter as it details what we can expect from the game’s launch early this month and after its launch. WB Games is aiming for a live-service model which means that we will continue to receive more content for the game in the future as well.

 One of the main highlights of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Insider Episode 3 is that it details the game’s free post-launch content that will arrive for all players free of cost. This free seasonal content will aim at keeping the adventure going following the main story-driven campaign and each season will be themed around a different DC character and will incorporate alternate realities invaded by Brainiac known as Elseworlds.

The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 1 will arrive in March 2024, and it will feature The Joker. The Joker is slated to arrive in the form of an Elseworlds twist on the iconic DC Super-Villian. Joker will be equipped with a rocket-powered umbrella that will allow him to launch himself into the air and surf across the city rooftops. This new version of Joker will join the fight with unique combat mechanics, traversal abilities, and weapons. Apart from the arrival of The Joker, additional content featured in the first season includes:

  • The Joker as a New Playable Character
  • New Joker-Themed Playable Environment 
  • Two Episodes with New Missions, Activities & Strongholds
  • New Boss Fights & Enemy Variants
  • New DC Villain-Themed Weapons & Gear
  • New Riddler Content

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Content

In Episode 3, you will also find an appearance from actor Jason Issacs, the voice of Brainianc in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, who provides additional insight into the character’s motivations and ultimate plans. Additionally, we can also see new social features and a four-player co-op mode in the game. Players will also be able to customize their characters with an in-depth character customizer that features different options such as outfits, rival taunts, and emotes along with co-op-specific rewards and competitive elements such as global leaderboards for high score hunting.

For the future, WB Games has also hinted that players can look forward to three new playable characters, three new playable environments, themed gear sets, activities, mid-season updates, and a lot more content. Previously, PlayStation held a special State of Play showcasing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
