Red Art Games and developer Andrade Games have announced the console release date of SturmFront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition. SturmFront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition is slated for release on PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Store and Nintendo Switch on April 2, 2021, with a next-gen release planned for later. The console release releasing tomorrow is an enhanced version of the original game and will set you back $9.99.

SturmFront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition features additional content, improved visuals, and more gore than before. The original title was released as a physical game and now Red Art Games is releasing it for the first time digitally after two years of its original release. A limited-edition physical release is also coming out exclusively from the Red Art Games Store which will be limited to just 999 copies and it will cost €19,99. The release date for the limited edition physical release is also April 2, 2021.

The game is set in 1984 and the world has been ravaged by the great plague wrought by humans themselves. The plague has devoured all known life forms and the uncontrollable evil mutants roam the planet. To save humanity, Dr. Hartmuth Griesgram has unleashed his best weapon to date the prototype SturmFront battle unit which is where you come into action.
