The narrated trailer shows us the gameplay and also tells us about the different elements of the gameplay of Sports: Renovations. You will take on different renovation jobs for sports facilities which will help you collect funds and secure enough money for renovating a basketball court in your hometown. Due to its poor condition, the basketball court is being demolished and a developer needs the space for another building however if you manage to save enough money and renovate the basketball court, it will not be demolished.
Keeping this as your motivational goal, you take on different renovation jobs where you will clean up, renovate, and decorate different types of sports venues. You will work in old, abandoned stadiums, arenas, gyms, swimming pools, and more sports facilities in order to give them a new life and earn money at the same time. As you work in these facilities, you will get to learn the history behind them by discovering memorabilia and talking to your clients and an experienced sports journalist. You will also bring life to forgotten places and learn how sports work from behind the scenes.
Sports: Renovations is slated for release in 2023 and if you are interested in trying out the game during its Playtest, you can head over to Steam and add the game to your Wishlist. You can also request access to the Playtest from the game’s Steam page. Additional details about the game will be revealed at a later date. Sports: Renovations was announced back in February 2023.
