Solasta: Palace of Ice Release Date Announced, Releasing Later Month

Solasta: Palace of Ice Release Date

French developer Tactical Adventures have confirmed the release date of Solasta: Palace of Ice, the upcoming campaign for Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Solasta: Palace of Ice will release on May 25, 2023, on PC and Xbox players. Solasta: Palace of Ice is the biggest content update released for the critically acclaimed Solasta: Crown of the Magister which is already a content-rich tactical-fantasy cRPG. Unfortunately, we did not get a new trailer this time around so all we have is the previously released announcement trailer for the DLC.

Solasta: Palace of Ice is a premium DLC for Solasta: Crown of the Magister and will add over 25 hours of new content which takes place at the end of the base game’s campaign. It is designed with higher-level characters in mind (Level 10-16) so you will need to complete the base game before jumping into the DLC. It would also make sense since the DLC continues the story of the base game so if you start without first completing the base game, you will not understand the story of the game. Solasta: Palace of Ice will allow players to discover new locations which will have new weather effects.

These locations will also feature new enemies and will offer you a chance to develop your characters with high-level character development including spells, items, armors, and more. Two new ancestries are also part of the DLC including Gnomes and Tieflings, which are playable on all available campaigns of the game. You can also take them for a spin in the new ‘Palace of Ice’-themed environments in the Dungeon Maker.

To celebrate the DLCs release, the developer is also releasing a special edition called Solasta: Lightbringers Edition on the same date which includes the base game along with all of the DLCs released for the game to date. Solasta: Crown of the Magister is currently available on PC via Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store, and Humble Store. The DLC is priced at $14.99 and can be purchased separately as well.
