SNK Confirms New King of Fighters XV Coming in 2020

In an IPO press conference held in Seoul, SNK has confirmed a new King of Fighters XV set to come in 2020. No other information about the development of the game was shared during the press conference.

Since it is too early to speculate, and that the game is pretty early in development, there have been no image, screenshots or artwork related to the game. We will most likely get more information in the E3 event of 2019, where more information about the game will be shared to the public.

Following the success of the previous title in the series; King of Fighter XIV, the company has inclined towards making another title after the success of XIV.

SNK has been active in the past years in bringing out more fighting games from the past, and providing more support for the classic games on platforms like the Nintendo Switch. The games include SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, the already mentioned King of Fighter XIV released in 2016, and the recently announced Samurai Showdown which is slated for a release on multiple platforms for a 2019 release.

You can play King of Fighters XIV on PC and PlayStation 4 right now, while the game is also rumored to release for the Nintendo Switch.

Samurai Showdown is another game by SNK that is coming across all major platforms like the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A release date however is not confirmed but it expected to be launched early in 2019.

In the meantime, SNK has released a 40th Collection bundle of games for the Nintendo Switch that you can play right now. The game was released on 13 November and contained multiple classic SNK games. Some of which are mentioned below:
