The new update is currently available only for the PC Steam version of Ship of Fools which was released back in November 2022. The latest content update brings a lot of end game content to Ship of Fools as it shines a light on The Great Lighthouse. It is the landmark located in the middle of the game’s hub and sets the anthropomorphic Fools on a journey to restore the building’s lamp to its former glory.

We have a new trailer showcasing the Great Lighthouse update for Ship of Fools below and you can check it out below:

The Great Lighthouse update will arrive on consoles later in September this year so until then, only PC players can enjoy the new end game content for it. In the Great Lighthouse update, players will not only get a new adventure but if they manage to complete it, they will receive new items, cannon abilities, new encounters, and new quests as well. There is also a paid DLC called Deep Sea Duo which introduces two new Fools to the crew of Stormstrider.

The new Fools include Angus the angler fish and Jules the diver who have bubbled up from the crushing depths below. Both Fools come to the game with their own unique heirloom item that provides a passive ability to help at sea. Deep Sea Duo is priced at $4.99 and additional DLCs, and content updates will be available in September this year. Details about future DLC will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
