Strictly Limited Games along with Flyhigh Works, Studio PICO, and Esquadra have announced the physical release of the hardcore ninja action game Shinobi non Grata. Shinobi non Grata will be getting exclusive and highly limited physical editions by Strictly Limited Games and pre-orders for all versions are now live. All of the editions will be available only through the official website of Strictly Limited Games.

As announced by Strictly Limited Games, Shinobi non Grata will receive Limited Editions for Nintendo Switch and PS4. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be limited to 2,500 individually-numbered units while the PS4 version will be limited to just 1,300 individually numbered units. Both will cost $29.99.
Apart from the Limited Editions, hardcore fans will be able to grab the Special Limited Edition which will be limited to just 1,500 units for the Nintendo Switch and only 700 units for PS4. This will cost $49.99, and it will be filled with digital and physical goodies. Both versions are now available for pre-order with an estimated shipping window of autumn 2023. The confirmed release date and other information will be announced at a later stage.
Shinobi non Grata is set in the year 1838, the ninth year of the Tenpo era when there is turmoil everywhere in Japan. Genba Kisaragi is leading the Oboro Itto clan and forms an alliance with the demons with the objective of overthrowing the bakufu government. However, unless Kaina, the descendant of a bloodline of shinobi specialized in fighting demons is taken out of the picture, his plans are of no use. You will step in Kaina’s shoes, grab your trusty sword Murasame and survive the bloodshed.
Shinobi non Grata is a 2D ninja action game where you will not only use your sword to cut through the enemies but also use seven different unique shinobi weapons like Shuriken, Kusarigama, and Elekiter to cut through hordes of demons and everything else that comes in your way. Key features of the game include:
- Peak 8-bit pixel art reminiscent of the best of the PC Engine and its contemporaries
- Challenging gameplay hailing back to the classics of the genre
- Each boss requires its own strategy and clever use of the ninja tools
