Shadow of the Tomb Raider Sales Down 70% Compared to the First Game in Reboot

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider hasn’t performed great in its launch week. In comparison to the first game in the reboot trilogy, sales were down 70 % in UK. The charts are still topped by Marvel’s Spider Man as it continues its amazing week of sales as the Playstation 4 exclusive.

DENUVO DRM Cracked, Shadow of the Tomb Raider Crack May Come Soon

Although Shadow of the Tomb Raider will have sold many digital copies rather than the physical copies, the sales number are just a little higher than the recent Rise of the Tomb Raider, which had only released for Xbox One unlike Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We still have to wait and see if the number of digital copies sold will alter the picture somewhat.

Meanwhile, Marvel’s Spider Man still is in the top of the list of sales in its second week, as sales only showed a 42% down compared to its week of launch, and it’s already on the brink of eclipsing the sales of the last big PS4 exclusive: God of War (boxed sales only).

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

New entry in the week: Shadow of the Tomb Raider failed to beat Spider Man to the top as it seems to be limping its trilogy to an end.

NBA 2K19 is another entrant and is in the third spot of the list. The 2K title charts a place lower than last year’s entry, although sales are pretty much identical. 65% sales of NBA were on Playstation 4, 33 % on Xbox One while 2% on the Nintendo Switch.

With the inclusion of new entries like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and NBA 2K19, here is the list of the top 10 in the UK:

1. Spider-Man
2. Shadow of the Tomb Raider (New Entry)
3. NBA 2K19 (New Entry)
4. Crash Trilogy
5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
6. GTA5
7. F1 2018
8. The Elder Scrolls Online
9. Lego The Incredibles
10. Super Mario Odyssey
