BANDAI NAMCO has revealed the latest trailer for its upcoming action RPG Sand Land which shares new vehicular gameplay details. The trailer also reveals new story elements and how players will get to engage in exciting vehicular combat when the game launches on PC and consoles later this year. Sand Land will feature a large number of vehicles that players will be able to use in combat and various other activities such as races. The latest trailer also announces the release date of the title.

In Sand Land, you will play as Beelzebub who is the main character of the game joined by a company of heroic misfits. You are on the hunt for the Legendary Spring hidden in the desert and on your journey, you will come across bandits, fierce wildlife, and the Royal Army as well. To fight with any oppression, you will have multiple vehicles at your disposal which will help you to survive in the game and complete your goal. Two vehicles that have been highlighted the most include the Hovercar and the Hovertank.
The Hovercar is an excellent vehicle when it comes to traversing over the wetlands and the rough terrain. It comes equipped with a boost that allows it to float to a great height to elevate over ledges and cross gaps. This will help you in difficult terrains such as quicksand biomes to easily move around without any issues. If you prefer your hovercraft to be equally capable in battle as it is in mobility, you can use the Hovertank which has similar hover functions, but it is a fully functional tank and it can vaporize anything that comes in its path. The aiming may take some practice due to its movement but once you get good at it, you can annihilate your foes with it.
Apart from these two, there are a lot of other vehicles in the game as well and you can customize these vehicles with hundreds of parts that can be applied to the main and the secondary weapons, engines, and suspensions. If the default designs are not working for you, you can also design your vehicles and play according to your liking. While designing your dream vehicle, you can equip special Option weapons such as the powerful Neutron Cannon or the Autonomous C-Drone. Apart from weapons, you will find a lot of visual customization options as well to create the perfect vehicle to match your personality.
Sand Land is set in a desert world where both humans and demons suffer from an extreme water shortage and this world has been developed by the creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama. You will need to learn to control Beelzebub’s power and use it to lead your team to explore the vast world of Sand Land. You will create custom tanks and a variety of other vehicles to navigate the world and equip weapons and parts to kill anything that comes your way.
Sand Lands is slated for release on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on April 25, 2024. Additional details about the game will be announced later.
