RuneScape Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests

Developer Jagex has announced that the next update for the ongoing Fort Forinthry Season in RuneScape is called Unwelcome Guests and it will arrive next week. The Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests update is slated for launch in RuneScape on April 10, 2023, for all members of the game. With the new update, players will be able to continue the adventure in a brand-new mini-quest and Slayer Challenge which introduces a new Slayer Master in The Raptor along with new skilling rewards.

Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests follows the events of Fort Forinthry: Murder on the Border’ and now the Fort is facing a growing threat of undead wandering the perimeter. Players will now join with their new Slayer Master, The Raptor to vanquish this undead horde and investigate where this brand-new type of enemy is coming from. ‘Unwelcomed Guests’ will give players their first encounter with the villainous necromancer, Zemouregal, whose role in the story will be explained in the coming updates.

Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests also introduces four brand-new slayer creatures, including the Fetid Zombie, Bound Skeleton, Risen Ghost, and Armored Phantom. If you manage to conquer these new enemies, you will earn Slayer Trophies which will provide increasing rewards, buffs, and a rare drop of a new two-handed magic ability. In the new update, the Construction Skill will play a vital role in continuing the story as players will build the Guardhouse which provides additional buffs for the Slayer skill.

It also includes additional damage bonuses and higher spawn rates for Elite monsters. To access the content featured in Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests, players must have completed New Foundations and Murder on the Border to Tier 1, along with level 10 Slayer and 50 Construction. The new update Fort Forinthry: Unwelcome Guests is members-only content and will arrive next week for all current members of the game. Currently, RuneScape is available on PC via Steam, iOS, and Android and supports cross-platform progression between PC and mobile.
