Publisher V Publishing and developer Boomer’s Workshop have announced the release date of their upcoming RPG Sanctuary Saga: Prelude. Sanctuary Saga: Prelude is slated for on PC via Steam on March 8, 2023. Sanctuary Saga: Prelude is a new take on the classic party-based RPGs where players will assemble a guild and guide them through the dangerous Untamed Wilds while ensuring that the group’s relationship remains good throughout the journey.
Sanctuary Saga: Prelude uses a unique relationship to determine how effective the guild remains. Keeping the guild closer to each other is beneficial and increases the effectiveness of the group in the long run. In Sanctuary Saga: Prelude, you will find four unique biomes to explore. These range from lush forests to decrepit Deadlands and each location will introduce a new set of challenges for your to overcome including new enemies. The combat is fought in turns with a row-based skill system making row management and positioning important for each battle.
Each hero in the party also possesses six unique skills that are game-changers during combat. On your journey, you will also come face to face with big bosses and defeat them in epic combat. The bosses have their own strategies so you will quickly need to adapt to their fighting styles in order to win against them. In Sanctuary Saga, learning the attack patterns of your enemies is vital for success. A unique mechanic that Sanctuary Saga: Prelude includes in the game is the argument meter.
You will need to keep an eye on this argument meter because if this meter gets too high during combat, certain party members might refuse to keep fighting during that battle. This mechanic is also related to the game’s relationship system where you can form bonds between your party members. Having good relationships in your guild will ensure that your party remains in fights for longer and each fight goes smoothly. Bad relationships within your guild will only lead to defeats so this is a unique mechanic in place in the game.

Sanctuary Saga: Prelude is slated for release on PC via Steam on March 8, 2023.
