Resident Evil 3 Remake is releasing next month however a Resident Evil 3 demo is coming later this week. We already knew that a PS4 demo is arriving sometime before the release of the game and but Capcom has now announced that the demo will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 19, 2020. An Open Beta for Resident Evil Resistance, the online aspect of Resident Evil 3 Remake, has also been scheduled for March 27, 2020.
This is not the first time that we will get a Resident Evil game demo. Capcom released a limited timed demo for Resident Evil 2 Remake as well when the game was about to release which gave us a little bit of time to explore the new game. This time around, Resident Evil 3 Remake is getting a demo as well which will allow you to experience a small slice of the full game. The section featured in the demo will be part of the full game coming next month.
According to Capcom, the demo will require players to be on their very best if they want to survive. According to the official blog, Capcom says that it might be a demo but players will need to be smart in order to reach the end of the demo. You will be required to conserve your ammo and items so that you can survive and play through the entire demo. Ammo and items will be scarce this time around.
The Open Beta of Resident Evil Resistance will arrive later on March 27, 2020, and everyone will be able to jump in the mode and try out the asymmetrical co-op horror game set in the Resident Evil universe. In this mode, players will play as a Survival or the Mastermind. The survivors must try to escape by avoiding the traps, monsters and creatures let lose by the Mastermind while the Mastermind must try their best to kill the survivors.
Previously we got to see some Resident Evil 3 Remake screenshots which showed us enemies, locations and NPCs in the game.
