Gunfire Games has announced the launch date for its upcoming survival action shooter Remnant: From the Ashes. The game is releasing on August 20, 2019. It will arrive on all major platforms simultaneously.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Remnant: From the Ashes puts players in the shoes of one of the last remaining remnants of humanity as they fight alone or with friends to take down hordes of enemies and huge bosses. The world is overrun by monstrous creatures and humanity is on the brink of destruction. Only a few now remain who must pick up their weapons and fight for a last stand against the huge creatures.

Humans in the game possess the power to open different portals and they must use this power to uncover the mystery behind the evil and the monstrous creatures. Players will need to scavenge resources and fight back if they want to survive the onslaught. The game features dynamically-generated worlds that change every time you play them.

As you slaughter enemies and monstrous bosses, you will get valuable loot and upgrade materials that can be later used to build weapons, armor, and modifications which will allow you to kill enemies in different ways. The game supports co-op so you can join forces with one or two other players to tilt the odds in your favor.

Each world you visit will offer you unique quests, enemy encounters, and in-game events. The game features four different worlds however every time you visit them it will be a unique experience. You will need a unique strategy for every encounter in the game and if you fail to adapt, you will not survive in the game.

Remnant: From the Ashes is releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 20, 2019.
