Red Dead Redemption 2 is just around the corner with just a few days remaining for its release on October 26. The game is coming exclusively to consoles only which are Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately for PC players, Rockstar Games has not announced if the game will be coming for PC anytime in the future as of yet.
However, a retailer in Europe by the name of MediaMarkt has listed Red Dead Redemption 2 for a PC release in 2019. But before you get excited, this can be two things: The first thing is that it could be just a placeholder listing for a future announcement, or it could have merely been a mistake.
Regardless, many players are wondering if it will happen later or not. It would not be surprising given that Gran Theft Auto V also came to the PC eventually, and that it can be quite possible. But nothing has been said by Rockstar Games and the short answer right now is that there is no confirmation of Red Dead Redemption 2 coming for PC.
There were many games that were initially released for console and then were later announced for PC as well. Games like Monster Hunter World and Destiny 2 were all launched for consoles are such instances where developers first release for consoles and then got to the Pc version thereafter.
So when can we expect a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2? RDR2 will at some point arrive on PC considering that the game will not only generate more game sales from a key market segment, the game itself is a technical marvel that should be pushing the highest end PC components to their limits. Expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to come out for PC in between a few months to an year after launch.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches October 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is also going to come out in two physical disc copies, where one will be for data and the other will be to play the game.
