Publisher Whitethorn Games has announced the launch of their latest title RE:CALL. RE:CALL is now available on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch and comes from the developer behind Evan’s Remains. RE:CALL is a mind-bending narrative adventure game where you play through the memories of unique characters. To celebrate the release of RE:CALL, Whitethorn Games has released a new launch trailer for the game. Check it out below before we jump into additional details:
The latest trailer for RE:CALL showcases some of the diverse cast featured in the game along with a small sneak peek into the narrative of the game. Each of the characters in the game has their own unique memories, mysterious intentions, and motivations. You will be able to change the recollections of past events to affect the present and solve puzzles while piecing together the mind-altering story.
In RE:CALL, you will embark on a deep narrative adventure that highlights the power of hindsight. The protagonist is able to alter the recollection of past events in order to immediately affect the present. The world around the characters will change based on how players navigate through these flashbacks. The developer explains this with an example that a guard might be standing by the door with a minor head wound but what if the protagonist remembered picking up a gun instead of a rock?
You will solve puzzles, change the hearts and minds of friends and foes and reshape the future. Key features of RE:CALL include:
- Memoirs of a Player: Get immersed in an epic narrative-driven adventure with a diverse cast of 10 unique characters, each with their own quirks and relationships with the protagonist.
- A Butterfly Flaps Its Wings…: Changing the past has immediate consequences in the future. Use this strange power to escape a factory, solve a crime, and win over your adversaries!
- True Detective: The circumstances surrounding the protagonist’s powers are steeped in mystery. Launch an investigation to figure out who’s behind it all!
