PvPvE Roguelike Platformer Reloadian Gears Up for Upcoming Steam Next Fest

Reloadian Steam Next Fest

Indie developer Bucketplay has announced that its roguelike action platformer Reloadian is participating in the upcoming Steam Next Fest in February. Bucketplay is known for its previous release called Metaball, a free-to-play hoverboard basketball game back in 2024. After its release, the developer is now gearing up to launch its upcoming title on PC and Steam.

This announcement comes after Bucketlaunch held a surprise PS5 Open Beta for Reloadian back on December 31, 2026. During this open beta, the developer received strong positive player feedback, which helped the developer in understanding the current state of the game’s core combat and multiplayer experience. After its PlayStation debut, the developer is now aiming to give PC players a chance to experience it as well in the form of a free demo.

The free demo of Reloadian will arrive during the Steam Next Fest slated to take place in February 2026. This demo will allow players to try its tight, high-impact combat, experiment with builds, and try short but replayable dungeons. The demo will remain live throughout the Steam Next Fest duration. The game supports solo and crossplay co-op with friends across PC and consoles.

While Reloadian is primarily a co-op title, it aims to have some PvP modes for competitive modes as well. The developer did not share at this point whether the upcoming Steam Next Fest demo will include this PvP aspect of the game or not. If you cannot wait until the Steam Next Fest demo, another demo is also planned earlier, which will allow you to try a small slice of the game in another form.

Hojin Hyun, CEO of Bucketplay comments:

The surprise PS5 open beta gave us a clear signal that players are excited about Reloadian. Steam Next Fest is a major step for the game, and we’re excited to share a playable demo with a wider audience.

Judging from the trailers, the game appears to be a standard platforming title where players will need to complete levels while avoiding a multitude of obstacles in their paths. These obstacles will range from spikes, fire floors, hanging spikes, and much more. In between these platforming sections, you will also come across enemies and will need to take them out. The runs will be in the form of a roguelike format, which means that when you die, you will lose your progress.
