PUBG Has Banned 13 Million Accounts in 69 Weeks – Claims a Reddit Post

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a battle royale game, one that has hooked players for hours since its early access period. The game initially was release on PC and we do know it is very easy to do exploits and hacking in PC version game.

A reddit user sjk045 claims that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has blocked a total of 13 million accounts in last 69 weeks. These bans are not soft bans, they are permanent ones.

Since the early access period of PUBG, players have been using various exploits to get an upper hand in the battle royale match. Some of notorious ones were fast running around the map, tank like health bar and others.

Since then, the player count in PUBG soared on PC version, mainly due to cheaters. Developers then took the matter serious and started banning account permanently. The bans started initially with a warning, further continuity of violation resulted in permanent ban.

The battle royale formula started with H1Z1. These were same people who later created PUBG. The battle royale formula has gone so main stream that now we have PUBG, Fortnite and other games with battle royale genre in mobile versions.

Speaking of Fortnite, the game is getting 14 Funko Pop! figures. The figures also contain two Pocket Pop! key chains. These 14 figures are based on in-game skins that have made in to Fortnite game since its first season. For more on this story, check here.

Fortnite is another a successful game with battle royale mode. The game is currently available of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, android and iOS. The game also supports cross-platform, players who are on Xbox One can play with players on PlayStation 4 and PC. The same goes for android and iOS users.
