Indie game developer inEv Games has announced the release window for its upcoming psychological horror visual novel Livber: Smoke and Mirrors. The game features decision-based gameplay where your choices will shape the story. With each decision made, you are pushed further into your own personal insanity. To announce the release window, the developer has also released a new trailer for Livber: Smoke and Mirrors. Check it out below:
Livber: Smoke and Mirrors is a classic text-based visual novel where you will experience the narrative in the form of dialogue and general text. Offering multiple narrative paths, the game puts you in the center stage as every choice you make will affect the story in different ways. Even small decisions like which door to open or which question to ask, or simply staying quiet, will change the direction of the narrative.
The game’s narrative revolves around Lilith, who was considered dead for a long time, but suddenly she starts calling you using a letter to an old house. When you decide to return to the house, you find Lilith in the house, or what remains of her, but as you enter the house, long-buried memories start to resurface, and you must try to survive with your sanity intact.

Livber: Smoke and Shadows is slated for release on PC via Steam in September 2026. A confirmed release date will be announced at a later stage; however, you can download and try its free demo right now or add it to your wishlist on Steam. A confirmed release date will be announced closer to launch.
