PlayStation Plus Games for May 2019 Announced

PlayStation Plus Games May 2019

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus games for May 2019. The list may seem tiny but the titles coming to PS Plus subscribers for this month are pretty decent. The two games coming to PS Plus this month are What Remains of Edith Finch and Overcooked. Both titles will be free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

This month’s theme for the PS Plus titles seems to be family because Overcooked features solid couch co-op mechanics while What Remains of Edith Finch is based on the exploration of a family tragedy. What Remains of Edith Remains comes from the creators of The Unfinished Swan. You play as the last remaining family member of the Finch family line.

The Finch Family appears to be under a curse and you must visit your old family house and discover the secrets behind the untimely deaths of your family members. The game features unique interactive storytelling. If you have not played the game already, now is your chance to experience this beautiful game.

It was also free on Epic Games Store some time ago. The second title coming to PS Plus this month is the chaotic, co-op cooking game Overcooked that looks cute but is absolutely brutal when it comes to gameplay. The developers built the game specifically for local co-op so if you have different people in the house, this is the perfect game for you.

In Overcooked, you will set in the shoes of some of the cutest chefs in the kitchen and try to cook and deliver different recipes in a frantic frenzy. The game features a large variety of different kitchens which come with unique obstacles and cooking hazards. There are tons of recipes to cook in the game as well as coupled with super-fast gameplay.

Both the titles are decent in this month’s lineup however the absence of PS Vita and PS3 games makes this list feel very empty because we often got more games to play on PS4 as some titles on PS3 and PS Vita were also compatible with PS4. Both games will be live on the service on May 7, 2019, so if you still have to add last month’s games, time is running out.

Which game are you looking forward to playing this month with your PS Plus subscription? Let us know in the comments section below.
