Top Hat Studios, Inc., and developer Regular Studio have announced the release window for their upcoming parkour game MOTORSLICE. MOTORSLICE will launch in May 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, marking its day-one arrival across all major systems.
The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the game’s blend of fast-paced parkour traversal and action set within a large, post-apocalyptic megastructure. The footage highlights the contrast between high-speed movement sequences and quieter, atmospheric exploration, giving a clearer look at the game’s overall tone and pacing.
Slice of Life Parkour Game MOTORSLICE Release Window Announced for PC and Consoles
MOTORSLICE places players in the role of P, a character sent on what initially appears to be a routine mission to eliminate rogue machines within an abandoned structure. As the mission unfolds, the setting reveals itself to be far more complex, with large-scale mechanical threats and shifting environments that reshape the objective. The narrative leans into a minimalist approach, focusing on environmental storytelling and character-driven moments.
Gameplay centers on fluid movement mechanics, allowing players to run, climb, and slide through dense, vertical environments built around brutalist design. Combat is designed to be fast and punishing, with an emphasis on precision and timing, where both enemies and the player can be taken down quickly. Encounters extend into large-scale boss fights, where players must scale massive machines as part of multi-stage battles.
Beyond traversal and combat, the game incorporates physics-based puzzles and environmental interactions, encouraging players to experiment with objects and pathways to progress. Visually, MOTORSLICE adopts a stylized low-poly aesthetic combined with pixel-inspired detailing, while its soundtrack, composed by Pizza Hotline, leans into atmospheric drum and bass influences to complement the game’s tone.
The game also features full voice acting for its protagonist, with Kira Buckland portraying P, adding a narrative layer to the otherwise restrained storytelling approach. MOTORSLICE is scheduled to release in May 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. If you want to try it out right now, a free demo is currently available through its official Steam page.
