Panic Button to Bring Torchlight II Enhanced Version to Consoles This Year

An enhanced version of the action RPG; Torchlight II has been announced to be coming for consoles by Fall of 2019. The game was originally released for PC back in 2012, and is finally making its way on consoles. In addition, Panic Button also confirmed that the game will be coming for the Nintendo Switch as well.

The game was  developed by Runic Games, and was well received with positive reviews. This makes it a great fit for players who would like to see the game on a portable console such as the Nintendo Switch, and a refreshed from other games like Diablo III.

The award-winning action RPG is back, bigger and better than ever! Torchlight II is filled to the brim with randomized levels, enemies and loot. Capturing all the flavor and excitement of the original, Torchlight II expands the world and adds features players wanted most, including online and LAN multiplayer. Once again, the fate of the world is in your hands.

Panic Button also adds that they have taken everything that fans loved about the original game and developed a version exclusively for Nintendo Switch, featuring improved controls and game features.

In Torchlight II, players can expect four classes of character to choose from, giving you a variety of playstyles at your fingertips. Each class can be played as either male or female, with customized cosmetic features and looks to make your hero stand out. Explore the vast overworld and multiple hub towns of Vilderan. Fight through rain, snow, day and night. Level randomization ensures new layouts, paths, loot and monsters every time you play.

The game is not over until you say it is, as a New Game Plus mode is also being added. Once you have beaten Torchlight II’s primary campaign, you can start again with the same character for a significantly greater challenge. You keep all the skills, gold, and gear you worked so hard for.

There is also multiplayer where you can play co-op with friends via LAN or over the internet for free. Meanwhile, popular features like Pets and Fishing are also making a return in the improved version of Torchlight II. More choices, better effects, and your pets will still make the run to town to sell your loot so you don’t have to.
