Operation Void Edge

With the Year 5 of Rainbow Six Siege just around the corner, Ubisoft has just teased the next season called Operation Void Edge. This means that we are only inching closer to the official reveal of the next season of year 5 along with all the content that is to come.

The teaser was made by the Rainbow Six Siege Twitter account that showed a strange planet in the center background and titled Void Rage. The caption of the image was also kind of cryptic saying “Look into your darkness.”

Operation Void Edge will be the latest and the first season in Year 5 of Rainbow Six Siege. Typically, every season comes with two new operators, a new map and tons of other content and game changes. Void Edge will also follow in the same footsteps, but it is always exciting to look at the new operators and their abilities, or if a new map would be making its addition into the game.

We will get more details during the Six Invitational event that Ubisoft is set to host this weekend on Sunday, February 16. We also got some information from the game’s Community Management Lead François Roussel, who talked about Year 5 and its content along with the new operators.

“[Year 5 will be] direction focused on features that benefit all players, not just those playing the newest Operators.” Also adding “free events, extensive reworks, and other core gameplay features.”

The new season can bring changes to the Operator Tachanka, who is the most underplayed character in the game. many fans wanted some changes made to the operator and to make him relevant in the game.

Operation Void Edge will be officially revealed on Sunday and will release sometime next month in March. Post your comments below and let us know what you think.
