One Piece: World Seeker Release Date Announced for US, EU – Pirate King Edition For EU Detailed

One Piece: World Seeker is set to release March 15, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platform. The game is published by Bandai Namco and developed by Ganbarion.

There are two different editions of One Piece: World Seeker. North America region will receive ‘Gum Gum Bundle’, while in Europe, ‘Pirate King’ Collector’s edition will be released.

The ‘Gum Gum Bundle‘ will cost $129 and will be sold from Bandai Namco Entertainment Store. The editions includes a copy of One Piece: World Seeker along with Luffy and Devil Fruit figure.

The ‘Pirate King’ Collector’s edition will include following content:

  • A copy of One Piece: World Seeker
  • The Season Pass
  • An exclusive 21cm Luffy figurine
  • A replica of the Gum-Gum devil fruit
  • The original soundtrack of the game composed by Kohei Tanaka

World Seeker

The pre-orders of the game will include extra downloadable content. There will be ‘Strange Island Rocks Mission’ which will reveal the secrets of the mysterious monster-shaped rocks on the island.

In addition to extra missions, those who will pre-order the game will also get to unlock extra costumes. ‘Military Costume’, and ‘Swimsuit Costume’ are two another downloadable contents for pre-order owners of the game.

Few in-game features have been shared of gameplay mechanics from trailers of One Piece: World Seeker. There is skill tree from which you can upgrade the powers and abilities. You can earn skill points by completing missions and progressing through the game.

One Piece World Seeker game will showcase events of a post war scenario. After the war, a society emerges under the name of ‘Jewel Island’, who takes into task of rebuilding process. The people are divided into two camps. One support the authoritarian navy while others are anti-navy resistance.
