Nintendo Switch Update 10.0.0 Adds Button Remapping, Data Transfer Options

Nintendo Switch Update 120

Nintendo Switch is currently the second-highest selling video game console of 2020 in the market despite its weaker hardware and lack of basic features. However, Nintendo is releasing updates for the console regularly which is adding brand new features to the game. The latest Nintendo Switch Update 10.0.0 is now live and it brings many features that were in high demand by fans of the console such as the button remapping.

Yes, you heard that right. Button remapping has now arrived on Nintendo Switch and you do not have to stick with the same configuration for every game. Depending on your game, you can now change the buttons configurations that suit you best and play your game like it is meant to be. Button Remapping was one of the most asked features by users of Nintendo Switch because it already features a different control layout than its competition and because of that, many players had a hard time getting comfortable with the control layout after jumping from another console.

Along with the button remapping, players can now add Bookmarks for their favorite news items and check them out later in its dedicated section. However, players will still require an internet connection to view these bookmarked items. Another handy feature is the transfer of data from the system storage to an SD card and vice versa. This will allow players to move around games and expansions to manage their storage accordingly and be able to easily use multiple SD cards with the console since they can move titles they are not playing for the time being to another SD card instead of deleting it.

Sadly, players looking forward to themes and folders are still waiting. Nintendo has not given any sort of indication when Nintendo Switch will get folders or themes to make the dull UI more colorful. You can check out the detailed patch notes of the Nintendo Switch Update 10.0.0 below.
