Nintendo Launches Trailer for Super Mario Party – Shows 80 Mini-games

A new launch trailer for Super Mario Party was just released by Nintendo, which gave us a very good overview of all the different minigames players will have available to them. The complete game will also come with a whopping 80 minigames which can be played with friends locally or online.

In addition to the various minigames that were showing in the trailer, it also showcases how the single Joy-Con control scheme is used to full effect, such as all sorts of motion control options enhancing the party vibe.

Another feature w got to see was the dual Switch option where two switch consoles can be placed side by side next to each other on a table to create one joint touch screen. The game that featured this mode was shown to be Toad’s Rec Room, while other games that will also use this feature are Shell Shocked Deluxe, Banana Split and Mini League Baseball.

The original 4-player Mario Party series board game mode that fans love is back, and your friends and family are invited to the party! Freely walk the board: choose where to move, which Dice Block to roll, and how to win the most Stars in skill-based minigames. Wait till you see the 2 vs 2 mode with grid-based maps, the creative uses of the console, and the series’ first online minigame mode!

According the trailer description, Super Mario Party will feature a complete of 80 minigames that can be played with friends locally or online. If you pre order the digital game right now you also get to earn double Gold Points in the game which can be redeemed when it fully launches.
