Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase

Nintendo Direct has been confirmed for E3 2019 and this means that while Nintendo might not be there at the event, Nintendo Direct will be streamed at the event and we will be able to learn about what Nintendo has planned for the months ahead.

We have already talked about an upcoming Nintendo Switch and a mini version. We might be able to hear more about that at Nintendo Direct E3 2019. We did get a hint that the new hardware will not be launched at the event but that does not mean that Nintendo cannot talk about it either. The following is what was mentioned about E3 2019 during the recent Nintendo investors call:

Once again, Nintendo will not be hosting a large-scale conference for institutional investors, securities analysts, and the media. Instead, we plan to continue our practice of the past few years, which is to release a video presentation discussing the games that are planned for release during the fiscal year, provide hands-on opportunities, and so on. The world championship tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 will be held on June 8, right before the start of E3.

While having a proper presentation at the event is the best, Nintendo Direct is still better than nothing at all. Sony is one of the companies that will not be there are the expo and that is indeed a shame. Microsoft, on the other hand, is going to have some major announcements. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has confirmed that this E3 is going to be a big one.

We might be able to learn more about the upcoming Xbox consoles and what Microsoft has planned in terms of streaming games. E3 2019 is going to be very exciting indeed and I for one am excited about Cyberpunk 2077 as CDPR has a strong presentation ready for the event.
