To celebrate the revival of Niantic’s first game; Ingress Prime, Pokémon Go players can now catch two new shine Pokémon. This includes the Shine Blue Ponyta and the shiny Green Cubone being launched today and ready to be captured.
In addition, players have also been gifted free avatar items in support of Ingress Prime. Ingress Prime is the newest mobile game on iOS and Androd by developer Ninatic. To celebrate its release, the studio is holding a special event in Pokémon Go by giving players an opportunity to catch 2 Shiny Pokémon.
The shiny green Cubone and blue Ponyta are only available for a limited time only, but will appear more frequently in the wild than they normally do. In addition, you will have more chances in capturing a shiny version of both the Pokémon. The shiny Cubone has greener complexion than the standard Cubone, while the shiny Ponyta has a blue fiery mane rather than a red one.
The shiny Pokémon also come with other customization items for their trainers to commemorate the launch of Ingress Prime. As of right now, you can get an Ingress Prime shirt for your avatar, as well as tops featuring the logos of The Enlightened and The Resistance – two teams that are competing for supremacy in Niantic’s new game Ingress Prime.
Ingress Prime was first launched back in 2013, and was the first ever game that worked on the basis of players exploring outside of the world to gather items and goodies for themselves. This idea was later implemented into Pokémon Go, which became a international hit over this unique concept.
With the newest launched version of the game, it is hoping to be a fresh start, and a cleaned up game with a fresh start and deeper story line. All in hopes to bring back the people who gave Ingress a try but failed to return to the game in the long run.
