New Free Warhammer: Chaosbane Update Adds Tower of Chaos

Warhammer: Chaosbane Free Update

NACON and Eko Software have released the latest free update for Warhammer: Chaosbane just when the game is currently 60% off in the Skulls for the Skull Throne 4 sale and gaming festival on Steam. The sale lasts until June 2, 2020, so if you want to grab Warhammer: Chaosbane at a massive discount and jump in the game to try out the new update, time is running out.

The new free update for Warhammer: Chaosbane adds a new Tower of Chaos along with many new enhancements that were highly requested by the fans. Warhammer: Chaosbane was released last year and since then Eko Software has released plenty of updates and DLC for the game based on fan feedback. The latest update brings some of the most requested features to the game such as the new PC interface and control modification.

However, the most highlighted addition to the game remains the Tower of Chaos. It is an ‘infinite tower’ mode where your main objective is to climb as high as possible to find better loot while facing increasingly difficult waves of enemy forces. As you continue to move up, tougher the enemies become and harder it becomes for you to move to the next level. However, if you manage to continue further up the levels, you get access to better and better loot. Check out the new video released by Eko Software detailing the new updates and additions to the game below:

Some of the highlights from the video are:

  • Changes to the Relic Hunt and Boss Rush modes: players now have more settings to customize their own game experience
  • Visual customization or transmogrification: you can now change the look of armor for another while keeping its statistics
  • Gameplay: you can now cast spells while another is being channeled
  • Controls: force move can now be assigned where left click only makes the character move (as found in other MOBAs)

The free update for Warhammer: Chaosbane is now available free for all players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Skulls for the Skull Throne 4 sale ends on June 2, 2020.
