New Fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate To Get Amiibo Figures

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases December 7, 2018 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. We recently mentioned that Nintendo is to do a final Nintendo Direct event before Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases. Also, to disclose more information about the game.

Yesterday, the event announcement mentioned that all new fighters joining in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will get Amiibo figures. We will mention here all the new fighters who will join the player roster in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

 

New Fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

  • Inkling (from Splatoon)
  • Ridley (from Metroid)
  • Simon (from Castlevania)
  • King K. Rool (from Donkey Kong)
  • Isabelle (from Animal Crossing)
  • Incineroar (from Pokemon)
  • Piranha Plant (from Super Mario)

Inkling, Ridley, and Wolf figures will be available on December 7, 2018.  King K. Rool and Ice Climbers will get their amiibo on February 15, 2019. While, Isabelle, Pichu, Ken, Young Link and Daisy will all get their figures sometime later in 2019.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the fifth game in the series. The game takes fighters from previous Super Smash Bros. games and makes a one, big player roster in the fifth game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features a total of 900 musical tracks and 103 in-game fight stages.

Super Smash Bros. was the first to come in this series back in 1999, this title set the tone for the game that is beloved to many players and has continued to be successful series in the Nintendo world.

However, in 2008, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the first to bring third party characters like Snake from Metal Gear Solid and Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega. From there, Nintendo realized the popularity of these crossover characters as it soon added Cloud from Final Fantasy and Simon and Richter Belmont from Castlevania of Konami.
