In a recent job listing, Monolith Soft has posted some jobs for developers who are interested in working on The Legend of Zelda series. The recruitment page posted by the developer mentions that the studio is looking for people specifically interested in working on The Legend of Zelda series and no other titles which could show that the next Zelda title might be in the making.

The different jobs posted on the recruitment page include different positions such as TA, Programmer, Planners, Designer as well as a Project Manager. This looks like a lot of staff for different positions which certainly shows that something is up. Details about the project are not detailed at this point.

The new title could be a sequel to Breath of the Wild or could be an entirely new title in the franchise. The studio previously only helped in certain bits to release The Legend of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild but now it seems that the studio is working on a brand new Zelda project on its own for which the hiring is underway.

Monolith Soft has numerous titles under their belt which include Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Splatoon 2 as well as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Monolith Soft was assisting with the topographical level design of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and it was one of the biggest titles on Nintendo Switch both at release as well as until last year. It also won the Game of the Year award for 2017.

If you are a developer and want to apply for any of the jobs at Monolith Soft to work on The Legend of Zelda series, you can head to the recruitment page and drop your application.
